As a Hairdresser Ambassador l’Oréal Professionnel - and also Meilleur Ouvrier de France - Christine Margossian creates every two months hairdressing collections broadcasted in France and abroad. The information is given to the consumers via the women's press and the hairdressers about the fashion shape, color and texture of the hair for each season. We wanted to know more in the backstage. Interview.

Christine, a question which can seem very banal to start the interview, what is your source of inspiration for your It Looks 2015 ?
My source of inspiration comes from the fashion weeks of London, Milan and Paris which release in advance their vision of the coming year. That way, I discovered color universes, structures, materials. To that, you can add the information given by the teams which decrypt the tendencies, your own interpretation and you transposed all of that to the hair universe.

What to remember for this winter 2015 ?
I will remember several waves: the pop London accents for Saint Laurent, the mini-dresses with glitter, the check capes by Hedi Slimane, the total black look by Tom Ford or Joseph. Finally, I noted the baroque spirit. The Arty wave that we already felt this summer with the sensation that the woman embodies a work of art by herself.

If we define the appearance of the woman Christine Margossian ?
… Laughter… I would answer first that I needed to put a woman identity back in the heart of my interests, and so in the heart of my images. To define that woman, my key words would be: simple, natural, elegant and self-confident. Regarding the hair, I divided the hairstyle into three steps.
Active chic for a « clavicut » with the hair a bit sophisticated. The hair is illuminated by a shading of warm caramel blonde. The movement is given by a blow-dry followed by a hair-straightener. For the second step of the day, I imagined that what could be perfect for an after would be to gather the lengths at the basis of the neck for an impression of shorter bob with the forehead covered by a fringe. And finally the night, a fresh and romantic tie with the hair hemmed around the face.
