The revelations of Denis Holbecq

Livecoiffure : For that new collection, you directly give the tone with a clear red, why did you choose that haircolor?
Denis Holbecq : the flamboyant red is part of the fashion shades which will appear on the catwalks of the winter fashion show 2015 , but also in the street and we can see that women are bored being standardized , the hair shades are more marked, light blonde, deep auburn and the sexy red !!

LC : Unless we are mistaken, you often worked with blonde and dark brown model but never with ginger model, why ?
DH : It's been a long time I used ginger in my collections but it remains my favourite color... I think women who wear red are audacious, this spicy color is fast noticed in the street and gives a sexy chic appearance !!

LC : Second working season with the blogger Leeloo, a logical continuity for you ?
DH : Leeloo is a chameleon woman, she can wear any color, change clothes style each time I see her, she is at the same time blogger, a tattoo artist, a model, a graphic artist, she draws very well, we have that thing in common: sharing artistic references...
She is a very contemporaneous woman who enjoys life, these women inspire me ….

LC : Your collection was shot in a paint shop, we know you are a respected artist, is it yours ?
DH : my paint shop is very different, a bit more cluttered !! Paintings, sculptures, wigs and ornaments in every corner and on every table… I'm a dabbler. A clip will be shot in mine with Leeloo as a tattoo artist ..
I fell one day for a painting in a gallery... I got along very fast with its owner …. to illustrate the mise en scène of my visual, she was kind and landed me her gallery for the shooting.

LC : Your client is blonde or dark-brown, which piece of advice can you give her to turn red ?
DH : if she has dark brown hair, a dark , warm and deep red lightly lighter than her natural basis. If she has blonde hair, a copper red close to natural red. Ginger remains chic and sexy when the red note is not so present...
