You can change what you have on your head but the most important is to change what is inside it. That's the slogan 2014 of the awareness campaign organized by l’Oréal and UNESCO via the sponsorship program of the foundation and Hairdressers against AIDS. That Monday 01 December, and to transmit the prevention messages, a new great duo: Bob Sinclar, iconic DJ and Jérôme Guézou, hairdresser ambassador l’Oréal Professionnel.Interview.

Jérôme Guézou, can you explain to us why you are THE hairdresser of the awareness campaign ?
First, I met Bob Sinclar via Sylvain Maury RP Paris and night person who is like my lucky star since I arrived in the capital. Thanks to him, I met the designer Jean Doucet that Livecoiffure has been following for two seasons. I do go out a lot at night for a long time, this is also the symbol of the union of two universes which are fashion and hairdressing. I've always prepared my friends when they go out, I especially think about the nights Marie-Antoinette de M. Hossein organized at the Palace. I've then lost night friends since the eighties like Bob.
But why you and him ?
Well, this year I celebrate my 30 year-career. My profession makes me very happy. I make a living from my passion, it's just great. Recently, I've been participating in nights Paris by Night organized by Bob Sinclar whose team: my colleague and myself is working for chignon studios and hair performances. As I wanted to celebrate my 30 year career with a useful commitment, I asked Bob if he would be interested we propose ourselves for Hairdressers against AIDS. He agreed in just one second and a half… and l’Oréal too !
What kind of impact Bob can have? what is your objective to communicate ?
Bob is a very famous DJ in France and abroad, that's clear that the young who go out will be more attentive to a message of the king of the night. Furthermore, Bob is a very calm, athletic, healthy, balanced person so night man but « clean ». The impact is even bigger ! And we can't forget that Bob mixed for the centenary of l’Oréal ! I think that that guy with long hair and with a beard is also in the current tendency !
