Show Keune Haircosmetics - Festival International des Rives du Léman 2015

The Hairdressing Festival of the Rives du Leman, internationally renowned, took place on 15 March at the Palais des Festivités in Evian. This event gathered thousands of visitors, about forty exhibitors, hairdressing schools from France and Switzerland and world renowned professionals !

The event was organized by the national hairdressing federation of Haute-Savoie and by the town Evian-les-Bains. It gathered different schools near the Leman - Private professional high school La Fontaine de Faverges, Hairdressing CFA of Annecy and Hairdressing professional school of Geneva- and big hairdressing names: Raphaël Perrier and the world hairdressing champions, L’Oréal Professionnel, Keune Haircosmetics, Vitality's or even Beauté Pro... Everybody was present for the competitions, the shows and the awards !

On this occasion, we asked Michèle Garde, organizer of the event to answer a few questions:

In general, are you satisfied of that edition 2015 ?
We are very satisfied of this new edition. Whether it is a question of the commitment of schools with very high level shows, the commitment of young people without diploma on the competition stage, this is a new enthusiasm for these competitions which didn't attract , for about ten years, our young generation.

Could you explain to us how you select the schools which can participate (Professional high school La Fontaine Faverges, Hairdressing professional school - Geneva, Hairdressing CFA- Annecy) ?
These are schools which were committed to that festival since the beginning. Geneva was already committed in the editions before 2012. A mutual trust has been created during those years.

Could you talk about the show "L'essentiel" performed by Raphaël Perrier and the hairdressing world champions ?
This was a very high-level show that we would have liked to see in the final; it impressed the audience thanks to the quality of the performances and thanks of the human values transmitted by these 3 champions.

Did you like the show of Roberto Fanti for Vitality's ?
AThere were professionals and non-professionals in the audience in Evian, Roberto Fanti knew how to combine the technique with the show. Maybe the audience was expecting less technique and more visual performance.

Sébastien Allary - KEUNE

What did you prefer in the show of Keune ?
Sébastien Allary presented a more visual show even with the stress, waiting for his result of meilleur ouvrier de France; he received a positive answer the day after and we congratulate him. His show confirmed his promotion. I liked the dexterity of his gestures.
The trials were diverse and varied:A competition to receive a "trophy for schools without diploma" ( on training head) and a "trophy for schools with diploma" (on model or training head). Glamour, ideas and glitters ?A trial about a « zodiac show, » a « night total look » and a "prestige braid" (on training head or model) was proposed.
Creation and imagination were present for the trials "Creative Fantasy" (on training head) and "free expression" (on training head or model). And to finish that morning full of competitions, nothing better than a "extreme bride hairstyle" or a "spectacular bride hairstyle" ! (on model)
There were also many shows: The private professional high school La Fontaine de Faverges started at 10h, then the Hairdressing professional school of Geneva and the Hairdressing CFA of Annecy ending the shows at 11h30.
There weren't only students who had fun but also great professionals: The sustainable development in Hairdressing explained by Jacques Minjollet, director of the hairdressing institutions and an exceptional show L'Essentiel by Raphaël Perrier and the hairdressing world champions !
Many other shows were performed all afternoon long: Roberto Fanti for Vitalitys, Look de Star d'Eric Léturgie, hairdresser partner L'Oréal Professionnel. Also a show of Sébastien Allary for Keune Haircosmetics and a show Chic and choc by Linda and Yvan, international laureates for Beauté Pro. The day ended up at 17h15 with the results of the competitions.
