  • The “ dread “ chignon :

To start, smooth your hair. Pull your hair at the back while smoothing with a comb. Apply styling wax. Then, make a ponytail.

Once your hair is pulled backward, the second part is more difficult. Choose a strand of your ponytail and twist it on itself as if you wanted to make a dread lock.

When your twist is done, make a loop and fix it with hairpins inside your hair tie.

Repeat this step again and again mixing the twists until you don’t have hair anymore. Fix with a spray.

  • Padmé Amidala in the Attack of the clones :

Before starting this hairstyle, it is necessary to have long hair, even very long.

    1. Start by making a parting in the middle. Take the first strand in front of your face and roll it around your hair straightener. Wait about 10 seconds then remove carefully your strand. Roll it on itself making a bowl and fix it on the top of your head. Repeat the same operation until covering your whole head with small macaroons. Curl the low part of your hair. Remove all your small macaroons and you will have a very curly head.

    2. Take a strand framing your face and twist it. Run your fingers through the twist to move apart the hair and make it less tight.

Do the same with an opposite strand.

    3. With these twists, frame your ears to make macaroons. Fix with hairpins.

    4. At the back of your head, take a small part of your curly hair under the left ear and twist it. Lift the twist up and tie it to the opposite macaroon as if you wanted a headband effect. Do the same with the right ear.

    5. Start the step 4 again twice. Use fixing spray.

    6. To finish, put a diadem or a beautiful bandana crossing your forehead.
