Stéphane Scotto Di Cesare wins the prize of the Male Hairdressing at the Hairdressings Awards !

Livecoiffure:  What main thread did you choose to create your hairstyles ?

Stéphane Scotto Di Cesare: The beginning of that series was built on the sepia color, vintage, which is the main thread and the basis of that story.  The pictures represent grown man in the pose but who are also very feminine in the style. The choice of the hairstyles remains on a panel of sophisticated but savage men with a slight historic connotation.  

This unstructured haircut was created in a way in order to create that instinctive touch.  The hairstyle was made with the hand with a styling texture until obtaining the desired movement... Several tests were done before finding the perfect trajectory. 

Other instinctive hairstyle but this time with the creation of a French twist.  I thought it was interesting adding a tie in a rising shape.  It becomes straightaway more feminine. 

With that hairstyle, we are in opposition, with a huge work of layered cut and a sophisticated hairstyle.  The whole thing with a slight graduation on the front and an extreme bleaching.  

In that last picture, you can again see something sophisticated with a special application on the edge where the implant was totally reinvented.  A, atypical and vintage line, this is my favorite one of the series...

Livecoiffure:  What did you think about the 10 years of the Hairdressing Awards ?

Stéphane Scotto Di Cesare: As you may know, I was at the same moment in Toronto for the great show Stylemasters Revlon where I received the second national prize Canada.  I followed the ambiance of Paris via the social networks.  That was a very remote ceremony !

Livecoiffure:  What do you feel after having won the prize of the Male Hairdressing ?

Stéphane Scotto Di Cesare: I was nominated twice at the Hairdressing Awards: Coiffure Grand Ouest and Coiffure Masculine. When I heard the results, I was extremely surprised because I believed even more in Grand Ouest series as I was the only one in that male category where all the competitors proposed black and white pictures.  So, huge surprise !  I want to thank Gaëtan Lecire for the pictures, Clémence Cherel for the make-up and Sarah Durand/ Guimond for the coordination.

Stéphane Scotto Di Cesare : Le départ de cette série a été bâti sur la couleur sépia, vintage, qui donne le fil conducteur et la trame de cette histoire. Les photos représentent des hommes virils dans la pose mais qui sont également très féminins dans le style. Le choix des coiffures a été réalisé avec un panel d'hommes sophistiqués mais sauvages à connotation légèrement historique. Cette coupe déstructurée sur la pointe a été réalisée de sorte à créer ce côté instinctif. Le coiffage a été fait à la main avec une pâte coiffante jusqu'à obtenir le mouvement voulu .... Plusieurs essais furent réalisés avant de trouver la trajectoire idéale.
 

Autre coiffure assez instinctive mais cette fois-ci avec la création d’un chignon banane. Je trouvais cela intéressant d'apporter une attache dans une forme croissante. Elle en devient alors plus forcément féminine.

Dans cette coiffure, nous sommes en opposition, avec un haut travail de dégradé et un coiffage assez sophistiqué. Le tout avec une légère graduation sur le front et une décoloration extrême.

Dans cette dernière photo, nous sommes encore dans quelque chose de sophistiqué avec une application particulière sur le pourtour où l'implantation a été totalement réinventée. Une ligne atypique et vintage, c’est ma préférée de la série…

Livecoiffure : Qu'avez-vous pensé des 10 ans des Hairdressing Awards ?

Stéphane Scotto Di Cesare : Comme vous le savez peut être j'étais au même moment à Toronto pour le grand show Stylemasters Revlon où j'ai reçu le deuxième prix national Canada. J'ai réussi à suivre l'ambiance de Paris via les réseaux sociaux. Ce fut une très belle cérémonie à distance !

Livecoiffure : Quel est votre ressenti après avoir gagné le prix de la Coiffure Masculine?

Stéphane Scotto Di Cesare : J'avais deux nominations aux Hairdressing Awards: Coiffure Grand Ouest et Coiffure Masculine. A l'annonce des résultats je fus doublement surpris car je croyais davantage à ma série Grand Ouest étant un peu seul dans cette catégorie masculine où tous les concurrents proposaient des photos en noir et blanc. Donc énorme surprise !  Je tiens à remercier Gaëtan Lecire pour les photos, Clémence Cherel pour le Make Up et Sarah Durand/ Guimond pour la coordination.
