• #yt:YAa3AlFaePI Over the weekend, the stylists at Dessange studio continued to bring out the beautiful best in actresses and celebrities. Let’s take a closer look at our favourites.

    Hairstyle Palme d’Or, May 17 to 19

After spotting Aimee Mullins , at the festival opening in a bareback dress and her hair loose, we then see her in a white tuxedo with a French twist chignon. We love the androgynous look of this outfit which accentuates Miss Mullins’s character.

Delphine Chanéac adopts the 1930s star style with this Charleston-touch dress and short, wavy hairstyle. Using the wave technique of the past, she manages to be bang up to date.

Bérénice Béjo’s low ponytail, the “arty” sleekness around the face and the perfect parting set off her facial features wonderfully. The bare forehead highlights the Bérénice’s eyes and eyebrows. Note too the contrast the style creates with the volume of the dress. Complementary styling for a really successful look. And Léa Seydoux followed suit, offering us a blonde version!

As for Liya Kebede, after first appearing with a similar sleek ponytail, she gave her hair a little more freedom with soft blow dry just like Megan Gale, and a sexy, wavy style! Sonia Rolland wore a daring clasp enabling the actress to style her hair relatively short into a chignon. This very “small head” style gives the impression of short hair that suits her so well!

As ever, we must remember that the stylist works on a global vision of your beauty. This is perfectly demonstrated at Cannes by the professionals there. The shape and texture of the hair is in harmony with the shape and fabric of each outfit.
