Céline Antunes : Ambassador Schwarzkopf Professional
-
Céline Antunes, how long have you been entrepreneur?
I moved in 2001 in Grenoble. Before the number of clients increasing and I couldn’t push the walls I moved in a bigger place for our team composed of fourteen persons in 2005: 38 to 120 m2 ! We can breathe and work more easily.
You work also on stage and your brand is associated with XXL volumes which are outside the framework?
First, the shows are mainly artistic approaches. I like transforming the hair. I am a transformist. Even if my first shows were more marked by amazing things, today I like mixing different things and I want to show that I can also manage the irons for a beautiful glamour wave. And especially express my creativity with natural hair.
What about your images, are there adapted to your clients?
The image catches the eye and if some collections are importable, they have the advantage of calling out, making people curious. A hairdresser must show his artistic sense so that the client can feel that ability to create, to find that particular thing in each one. And we must also feed the dream, element that the profession put aside for years!
Well, what is your point of view about your profession, the hairdressing?
First, I think that the National Education should review its policy advice for our manual occupations. Not considering anymore the handicraft as professional siding which would enable to recruit motivated, passionate young people and not shipwrecked victims of the traditional educational system. As a result, the hairdressers would be more respected as well as the couturiers for example.
You recently participated to the contest of the hairdressing Awards, why ?
The contests generally bring recognition. They lead us to surpass ourselves and to perfectionism. This universe is good to me. Since I’ve been participating to contests, I’ve been perfecting my expertise and shaping my eye for the photos.
